In a report by ABS-CBN News the incident occurred on Monday night. The footage captured the young men, with one holding a white plastic bag, while walking along at Bataan Street, Brgy. 605 in Santa Mesa, Manila.Later on, the pair left the plastic bag at the side of the road and walked away – smoking and even appearing to have a funny chat afterwards.
A local found the item and brought it to the barangay, thinking that someone must have forgotten their bag of groceries. However, the authorities started having speculations when they checked that the cookie box inside the plastic bag was wrapped with masking tape.
Upon opening, the officials found out it contained a 5 – 6 months old female fetus wrapped in a red polka-dot blanket.Chairman Marisa Papa immediately had the fetus sent to a funeral parlor, describing that it has already developed and did not include a placenta. She then called out to the unborn child’s mother, informing her of the possibility of blood poisoning if she remains to be unattended by a doctor.
Marketing and Communications Director of JRU, Ivory Joy Malinao, released a statement that they intend to launch into an investigation to confirm the identity of the man and if he indeed belongs to their school. The college has yet to have a copy of the footage but assured to do so to ‘initiate appropriate action.’
“Whether our student or not, we condemn the commission of such act,” Malinao added.
Meanwhile, the Facebook page of JRU Confessions shared the news and claimed that the student clearly goes to their school – seeing as he wore the complete uniform and the ID of the college.
