Licorice has been used for centuries by the Egyptians, Chinese, Greek and many other nations in Asia for medicinal, confectionery and flavoring purposes. It is also known as Gan Zao and sweet root in Chinese.
This is one of the most widely used herbs in the world. Licorice root contains many healthy components.
Yastimadhu or Mulethi or Liquorice powder- 1tbsp
Cooked oats- 1 tsp (cooked in water if you have oily skin and prepared in milk if you have dry skin).
Your preferred natural toner or increased water- to form a paste (I have actually utilized my Auravedic toner here to include onto the benefits).
Prepare the oats in water or milk as mentioned above, and let it cool.
Add liquorice root powder and mix well.
You can add water to make a thick paste.
Wash your face with warm water.
Use the pack uniformly and massage into your skin for 5 minutes. Leave it on for another 15-20 minutes.
Rinse with Luke warm water first, then, with . cold water and moisturise.
Use this daily for best result.
